Huron Lines - Lost In Sarnia (Official Music Video)

We are HURON LINES from Windsor, ON, Canada. This video was directed by Garth Jackson of Troublelight Films. . SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMJDizgoyz1PC2gWwIV_rXA?sub_confirmation=1 Learn more about Huron Lines here: https://linktr.ee/HuronLines *** ABOUT Lost In Sarnia: LOST IN SARNIA, the latest from Windsor, ON’s HURON LINES, takes a page from heavy alternative and doses it in indie shoegaze swagger to unleash a torrent of rock driven emotion around that feeling of being far from home with idle hands and time to kill. Cleverly produced by Joshua Kaiser (Psychic Void, Flower Face) in Windsor and mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man (Jack White, Dead Weather) in Detroit, with LOST IN SARNIA the band is continuing their quest to push the boundaries of what Canadian alternative rock is known for around the globe. Huron Lines is Dave Mueller (Guitar, Vox), Nick Mitchell (Drums), Grainger Harris (Guitar), R.J. Brando (Bass, Vocals) Written and performed by Huron Lines. Lyrics by D. Mueller Recorded by Joshua Kaiser in Windsor, ON Mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering in Detroit, MI Artwork Photography by Jonathan Dy in Vancouver, BC Graphic Design and layout by Jordan Braithwaite in Austin, TX Distributed by Believe Music / Silver Door Entertainment Label: Chieftown Music (Windsor, ON) More about “LOST IN SARNIA”: “I was listening to a lot of Baroness and Donovan Woods when this came to be... two artists who probably don't go together for any particular reason but somehow mix themselves into influencing this song. I think I was hearing stories of friends who went away with the best intentions and ended up getting lost in the plot along the way far from home. The use of Sarnia, another border city less than 2 hours from where I live, in the song was something that I think must've come subconsciously as I wanted to set the song somewhere and it was a place that I was more familiar with then towns further away in Western Canada but still had some of that same imagery around refineries and the darkness around the edges that can creep in if you are not careful.” - D. Mueller MORE ABOUT HURON LINES: As anyone who’s gazed northbound down the barren downtown strip of Ouellette Avenue knows, the presence of Detroit looms large across Windsor, Ontario. For the inhabitants of Canada’s most southern city, Detroit’s crumbling art deco skyline has become a symbol of identity and pride, as Windsorites are fed a steady diet of culture as local television, and terrestrial, public, and college radio are broadcasted across the emerald Detroit River, visual artists share residency across the border, and sports and culture events are merely separated by a short trip through the Windsor/Detroit tunnel. For the four members of HURON LINES, Detroit has always been an integral part of their sound, aesthetic, and their anything-goes approach to making music. LOST AT THE BORDER, the debut album from HURON LINES is a direct result of the eclectic and adventurous nature of the scene they grew up with. Across eight tracks and 30 minutes, vocalist/guitarist Dave Mueller’s beautifully dusty delivery shapes the powerful but yearning “Lost in Sarnia”, while bassist RJ Brando helps give “Lonely Lover” an anthemic feel due to his soaring backup vocals. Guitarist Grainger Harris and Drummer Nick Mitchell keep the angular twin guitar attack moving forward, adding lush leads on top of a gutteral groove-filled backbeat. LOST AT THE BORDER shows the quartet releasing the best music of their respective musical careers—pulling gracefully and forcefully from post-punk, shoegaze, garage rock, and even sludge metal, all the while leaving the listener with something that could only have be birthed amongst the shadows of the Motor City. *** Lost In Sarnia Lyrics by David Mueller I went to Sarnia I lost my hold on ya I don’t know how this can last Down on the edge of it Right where the bridge is lit Over the oil and gas Now I’m down in the weeds Pulling poison from my knees And it won’t come out But I wanna love you like there is no other light But I can’t shake this disease Refinery, Refine me Refine my love Refinery, Refine me Refine my love Current’s pulling me too strong Down on Front St. on my own And I won’t go home I’m lost in Sarnia Can’t get a hold of ya I don’t know how this can last Refinery, Refine me Refine my love Refinery, Refine me, Refine my love #alternativerock #canadianband #lostinsarnia #postpunkmusic #noiserock #ontariomusic #windsorontario #rocknrollband #staticaudiovideo #huronlines #hardrock #loudrock #rock #canadianmusic #canadianartists #postpunkmusic #troublelightfilms #believemusic #YQG #windsoressex #sarniaontario #sarnia #huronlines #thirdmanmastering #kaisersound #canadianrock #newband #sarniaontario #519 #sarniarocks

Huron Lines - Lost And Found (Official Music Video)

This video, directed by Garth Jackson of Troublelight Films, was selected as an Official Selection for the 2021 Forest City Film Festival - Music Video Category SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMJDizgoyz1PC2gWwIV_rXA?sub_confirmation=1 This is the official video for our song LOST AND FOUND. We filmed this on a DIY budget with our friend (and uber talented director) Garth Jackson at an undisclosed location in Essex County, ON. We are are excited to share it with you. The song and video are inspired by that feeling of watching someone you love slip away into the darkness and feeling helpless while at the same time feeling like you have to try to do something... talk to them, encourage them, or stare them down on a deserted road next to an illuminated greenhouse in the middle of the night... either way, it can be lonely for the one trying to help sometimes. Then the moment vanishes and you wonder if it ever happened in the first place. But the feeling carries on...” - D. Mueller LONELY LOVER, the 4th single from Windsor, ON’s HURON LINES, establishes the band as one of Canada’s hardest hitting new rock bands with its edgy post-punk and atmospheric rock undertones combined with vocalist Dave Mueller’s gritty delivery. Cleverly produced by Joshua Kaiser (Psychic Void, Flower Face) in Windsor and mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man (Jack White, Dead Weather) in Detroit, with LONELY LOVER the band is continuing their quest to push the boundaries of what Canadian alternative rock is known for around the globe. Brando (Bass, Vocals) Written and performed by Huron Lines. Lyrics by D. Mueller Recorded by Joshua Kaiser in Windsor, ON Mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering in Detroit, MI Artwork Photography by Jonathan Dy in Vancouver, BC Graphic Design and layout by Jordan Braithwaite in Austin, TX Distributed by Believe Music / Silver Door Entertainment Label: Chieftown Music (Windsor, ON) More about “LONELY LOVER”: “Lonely Lover is crafted around that moment when two people connect but never see each other again. MORE ABOUT HURON LINES: As anyone who’s gazed northbound down the barren downtown strip of Ouellette Avenue knows, the presence of Detroit looms large across Windsor, Ontario. *** Lonely Lover Lyrics by David Mueller she said something and then she walked away i couldn’t tell what her words were meant to relay i wanna know if i’ll be right will she take me to the light? i want my lonely lover back i want my lonely love back i want my lonely i want my lonely lover back i spit out words but they fell right to the floor black light and then she slipped right thru the door i wanna know if i’ll be saved will she let me misbehave? i want my lonely lover back i want my lonely lover back i want my lonely i want my lonely lover back she said something and then she walked away i couldn’t tell what her words were meant to relay #alternativerock #lyricvideo #rollerskatingvideo #theCIBcrew #rollerskaters #rollerskatingmusicvideo #canadianband #postpunkmusic #noiserock #ontariomusic #windsorontario #rocknrollband #staticaudiovideo #huronlines #lonelylover #hardrock #loudrock #rock #canadianmusic #canadianartists #postpunkmusic #troublelightfilms #believemusic #rollerskatinghalfpipe #rollerskatingtricks #rollerskatingvideo #DIYmusicvideo #YQG #windsoressex #CIBwindsor #lyricvideos

SUBSCRIBE TO OUR CHANNEL here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMJDizgoyz1PC2gWwIV_rXA?sub_confirmation=1 We are HURON LINES from Windsor, ON, Canada. We filmed this video during a difficult time (Spring 2021) in Ontario when we could not be together due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Garth Jackson of Troublelight Films shot this remotely across our hometown of Windsor and Essex County including drone footage over Lake St. Clair. It features the four of us cut separately (as we could not be together) which we think captures the essence of the song so it worked out in that respect. Drinking too much doesn't usually end well and it's even more detrimental as a solo undertaking.. especially the older you get and the more life throws at you. Sonically this one was written on an old baritone ukulele that was given to me when I was a kid - I have never written a song on it before but had it fixed up in anticipation of passing it on to the next generation in my family when the song fell out of the sky after a late night lost in the darkness... like most of the good ones tend to do...” - Dave Mueller, Huron Lines More about HURON LINES: As anyone who’s gazed northbound down the barren downtown strip of Ouellette Avenue knows, the presence of Detroit looms large across Windsor, Ontario. Huron Lines - The Company I Keep (Official Lyric Video)

Introducing the LYRIC VIDEO for The Company I Keep, the 3rd single from new Windsor, ON band HURON LINES. This video was shot primarily via drone on location in Windsor / Essex, Ontario and over Lake St. Clair. It was created entirely by Garth Jackson of Troublelight Films, with the help of our own Grainger Harris. Written and performed by Huron Lines. Lyrics by D. Mueller Huron Lines is Dave Mueller (Guitar, Vox), Nick Mitchell (Drums), Grainger Harris (Guitar), R.J. Brando (Bass, Vocals) Recorded by Joshua Kaiser in Windsor, ON Mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering in Detroit, MI Artwork Photography by Jonathan Dy in Vancouver, BC Graphic Design and layout by Jordan Braithwaite in Austin, TX Distributed by Believe Music / Silver Door Entertainment Label: Chieftown Music (Windsor, ON) Great rock n roll has always been about either chasing something down or running fast as hell away from it. But what happens when that thing you're chasing or running away from is yourself? THE COMPANY I KEEP, the third single from new Windsor, ON quartet HURON LINES is a dirty, head-bobbing rock song about finding out that in the end you are the company you keep even when it’s staring at you in the mirror. More about THE COMPANY I KEEP: “Sometimes you are your own worst enemy. Drinking too much doesn't usually end well and it's even more detrimental as a solo undertaking.. especially the older you get and the more life throws at you. If you are out too late and left to your own devices to find your way home, sometimes the only light you can see is what’s right above you. Streetlights guiding you home, taking you back to what matters most and pulling you out of the darkness. That is kind of the visual of the song - and obviously coming back to face whatever you left behind at the beginning of the night.” - Dave Mueller MORE ABOUT HURON LINES: As anyone who’s gazed northbound down the barren downtown strip of Ouellette Avenue knows, the presence of Detroit looms large across Windsor, Ontario. *** Streetlight Gospel Choir Lyrics by David Mueller streetlight gospel choir pull me home under your fire oh lord you’re waiting on me i know you’re waiting on your own just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go streetlight gospel choir light the way for another liar i know you’ve seen me like this but i swear it’s different then before streetlight gospel choir strung along with copper wire i know you’re waiting for me now i’m here standing at the door just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go you’re gonna pull me thru the flame i’m gonna pull you down again you’re gonna pull me thru the flame i’m gonna pull you down and pull you down again just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go just give me something and don’t let go... #alternativerock #rocknroll #canadianband #singleartwork #streetlightgospelchoir #postpunkmusic #noiserock #ontariomusic #windsorontario #rocknrollband #staticaudiovideo #huronlines #hardrock #loudrock #rock #canadianmusic #canadianartists #postpunkmusic #troublelightfilms #believemusic #YQG #windsoressex #huronlines #thirdmanmastering #kaisersound #canadianrock #newband #guitars #lyricvideo
